MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The University of Montevallo Athletic department is hosting, "Falcons Fighting Cancer", a Breast Cancer Awareness event Tuesday, Oct. 22 to help raise money for breast cancer research.

The event will take place at the Montevallo volleyball match against Lee University at 6 p.m.

There will be a cookout at 5 p.m. prior to the game, and a silent auction will also take place inside the arena alongside the game.
 
"We are looking forward to having a great group of supporters at our match Tuesday.  We have the cookout so come out and eat and watch your Falcons," said Head Coach Katie O'Brien. "We will also have some athletic gear up for a silent auction and hopefully some other items to help raise some money."

T-shirts will be on sale at the event for $15 (S-XL) and $20 (2XL-3XL).
 

 
You can also make donations at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.
