MONTEVALLO, AL. - University of Montevallo  junior Georg Trompler is ranked 14^th in the first set of Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II South Region men's singles rankings for the 2019-2020 season. The rankings, released November 13^th, included 9 other Gulf South Conference players and 10 players from the Sunshine State Conference. Barry University's Alejandro Ibanez Gallego earned the top ranking in the region after winning the ITA Regional Tournament and the ITA Division II Cup this fall.

Trompler enjoyed a successful fall campaign, posting a 4-1 singles record in tournament play. The junior from Bavaria, Germany finished the 2019 spring season ranked 6^th in the South Region and 13^th in the nation in singles, earning him NCAA All-American honors. The first set of ITA Division II national rankings will be released on Wednesday, November 20^th.

The Falcons open their 2020 slate on February 7^th against Christian Brothers in Memphis, TN.
