Freshman
Tobias Rauch defeated the Golden Tigers' Jabari Hargrove 6-0, 6-1 in the No. 1 singles' match. Freshman
Dylan Valentine took down Jabari Cole of Tuskegee 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 2 singles' match.
Sophomore
Benedikt Schlederer topped the Golden Tigers' Tyler Mitchell 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 3 singles' match. Sophomore
Jonathan de Jesus defeated Rithy Sry of Tuskegee 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 4 singles' match.
Sophomore Alex Cochran took down the Golden Tigers' Gedasse Patterson 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 5 singles' match, while sophomore
Chandler Hagan won the No. 6 singles' match by default.
Rauch and Valentine topped Hargrove and Cole 6-1 in the No. 1 doubles' match, while Hagan and freshman
Alejandro Dorado defeated Mitchell and Sry 6-0 in the No. 2 doubles' match to give the Falcons the doubles' point.
The Falcons will open Gulf South Conference play with a match against Christian Brothers on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. at the Montevallo Tennis Complex.
