Box Score MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The University of Montevallo men's tennis team defeated Southern Arkansas University 6-1 in a non-conference match March 20 at Lagoon Park.

The Falcons improved to 5-4 on the season with the win.

Sophomore Georg Trompler defeated Stuart Rehfuss of Southern Arkansas 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 1 singles' match. Sophomore Petter Dahlin topped the Muleriders' Marko Nikoliuk 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles' match.

Sophomore Daniel Del Val defeated the Muleriders' Raymond Marin Garcia 6-1, 4-6, 6-5 in the No. 4 singles' match.

Sophomore Gavin Salton topped Aleksandr Pokusaev of Southern Arkansas 7-5, 2-6, 7-5 in the No. 5 singles' match. Freshman Tobias Rauch took down the Muleriders' Natiphat Mulada 7-5, 6-3 in the No. 6 singles' match.

Sophomores Petter Dahlin and James Bloomer won the No. 1 doubles' match against Aleksandr Pokusaev and Stuart Rehfuss of Southern Arkansas 6-4 and sophomores Milan Ludlage and Brecht Van Buggenhout claimed the No. 3 doubles' match against Natiphat Mulada and Marko Nikoliuk 6-3 to secure the doubles' point.

The Falcons will return to action Sunday, March 24 with a match on the road at Florida Tech in Melbourne, Florida.
