Box Score MELBOURNE, Fla. – The University of Montevallo men's tennis team swept regionally-ranked Florida Tech 7-0 in a non-conference match March 24.

The Falcons improved to 6-4 overall on the season with the victory.

Sophomore Georg Trompler defeated James Finnigan 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the No. 1 singles' match. Sophomore Petter Dahlin topped the Panthers' J.J. Clark 7-6, 3-6, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles' match.

Sophomore Tanguy David took down Kleanthis Zisis Tegos of Florida Tech 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 3 singles' match. Sophomore Daniel Del Val defeated the Panthers' Jamison Burch 7-6, 6-1 in the No. 4 singles' match.

Sophomore Gavin Salton topped Tjimon Louisy of Florida Tech 6-3, 6-2 in the No. 5 singles' match. Freshman Dylan Valentine took down the Panthers' Alexander Webb 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 6 singles' match.

Sophomore James Bloomer and Dahlin defeated Finnigan and Clark 6-3 in the No. 1 doubles' match. David and Trompler topped Zisis Tegos and Burch 6-3 in the No. 2 doubles' match and sophomores Milan Ludlage and Brecht Van Buggenhout took down Agassi Tomegah and Louisy of
Florida Tech 6-1 to secure the doubles' point.

Montevallo will return to action Tuesday, March 26 with a Gulf South Conference match on the road at Valdosta State University.
