MONTEVALLO, Ala. - For the first time since becoming an NCAA Division II member, the Montevallo Women's Basketball team looked at the NCAA release and saw their name in the NCAA South Regional Rankings.  Coach Van Atta's team has enjoy their first winning season since the 2012-2013 season.  The Falcons landed in the 9^th spot out of 10 teams ranked.  Other GSC schools included in the ranking were Lee University (1), Union (2), Delta State (4), Alabama-Huntsville (8), and West Georgia (10).
 
The Falcons have an extremely tough week as they host Alabama-Huntsville on Thursday at 5:30 pm at Trustmark Arena and then travel to Delta State on Saturday for a 2:00 pm tip-off.
