Montevallo WBB signs Elizabeth Hill

MONTEVALLO, Ala - The University of Montevallo women's basketball team signed Elizabeth Hill, a 6'0 forward out of Cold Springs High School in Cullman, Alabama.  "We are so very excited to add another player of Elizabeth's talent to our team." says head coach Gary Van Atta

Hill was selected ASWA girls Class 2A Player of the Year after averaging 19.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, and three assists per game this past season.  She has recorded 30 or more points in five total games, blocked 96 shots, and also had 59 steals on the year.

Coach Van Atta opened up a little more about the new Falcon, "She possesses all of the intangibles we look for as coaches. She is a person of high character and one that excels in the classroom.  She's a smart, dedicated, hardworking, and talented basketball player.  Her versatility as a player makes her a perfect fit for our style of play.  She is a 6 foot "do it all" type of player. In the state championship game in 2019, she scored 30 pts, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out 5 assists, blocked 4 shots and made 4 steals. That's about as well rounded as it gets."
