MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's swimming team won seven of fourteen events to defeat Ouachita 144-111, on Thursday (Jan. 7) at the SAC Natatorium.
"Really excited to see everybody come back after break and be ready to go. It was great to get our first men's dual meet win against a conference opponent. I'm really excited to see where we are at this point and looking forward for the next two days of racing," said head coach

NOTABLES
Ray Asmakis recorded a season best time in the 200 free (1:52.82) propelling him to a tie for first in the event.
Parker Bell improved in the 500 free for the season, with a 5:14.90 mark increasing his efficiency by 5.5%.
Brandon Bell established season highs in both the 50 breast (29.89) and the 50 fly (26.92), along with
Mason Wood who recorded his best time of the season in the 50 fly (25.98).
Andre McCloud established a new personal record in the 50 fly with a 25.78 mark.
Spencer Hoyt also set a new career high time in the 200 free notching a time of 1:57.07.
NEXT UP: The Falcons will take a short trip to Birmingham Southern on Friday (Jan. 8) for a meet against the Panthers. The meet it slated to begin at 10:00 AM.
