Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. - Montevallo took a 15-8 loss against Westminster, Friday at the Lacrosse Stadium.

The Griffins put up two scores until Chaiton Williams was able to net the first goal for UM.  Westminster scored three more goals before Anthony Pecoraro notched the Falcons second goal making the score 5-2 with 2:14 left in the first.  The Griffins went on tear for five goals before the next UM score.  The Falcons added a goal from Jackson Neufeld with 4:45 left in the second for a 10-3 score in Westminster's favor.  Montevallo took a 10-4 deficit into the locker room at half time. 
 
UM was the first to score in the second half after Kordell Primus knocked in the Falcons fifth goal.  The Falcon's kept scoring in the second half but could not match the Griffins offensive firepower.  Westminster would outlast the Falcons 15-8 to end the game.
 
UM was lead offensively by Jackson Neufeld and Thomas Vaesen who notched two goals each.  The Falcons saw production from Connor Frederick, Kordell Primus, Anthony Pecoraro, and Chaiton Williams who added a goal each to the score.
 
UP NEXT: The Falcons next match up will take place on Friday, March 12 as they travel to Murfreesboro, N.C. to take on Chowan University.
