MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Montevallo men's lacrosse team picked up several honors for their efforts on the field this season. Before taking the field in route to the 12-10 PBC Championship victory, the conference announced the recipients of their All-Conference awards to which seven Falcon's were honored, leading the conference in individual selections. 

The conference voted Trevayne Hunter, Thomas Vaesen, Connor Frederick, Jackson Neufled, Gabe Sucevic, Kyle Little, and Anthony Pecoraro to the 2021 Peach Belt All-Conference Team.  Head coach Jason Lange was named Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to a 5-0 conference record and a regular season championship.  

Thomas Vaesen was voted as the Player of the Year after leading the conference in goals (48 G, 3.43 AVG/G) and points (68 PTS, 4.86 AVG/G).  Vaesen owns the Peach Belt Conference record for the most goals in a single game after he netted 12 goals against Chowan, which ties the NCAA Division II single game record.  The Victoria, British Columbia native was also named to the USILA South All-Region team.

Kyle Little was named PBC Defender of the Year for his lethal defense of the Falcon net that only allowed 10.38 goals per game, and led the PBC in goals allowed average and save percentage among keepers who had at least 500 minutes in goal. He had six games of allowing fewer than 10 goals and seven games with 17 or more saves including a 25-save effort against Alabama-Huntsville that is the most in a single game in the PBC an earned him Player of the Week honors.  Little was always there when the Falcons needed him the most including 20 saves in the conference finale with four key saves in the final minutes of the match.  He was also named to the USILA South All-Region team.
