MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo women's swimming's Lexi Cardwell and men's golf's Eric Boutwell have been named Montevallo Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 2.
 
Lexi Cardwell (Women's Swimming)
The senior freestyle swimmer notched two podium placements to help lead the Falcons to a second-place finish at the Sewanee Invite on Saturday, Oct. 29. She took one of Montevallo's two first-places after taking the gold in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.77 seconds. Cardwell then earned second in the 100-yard freestyle after finishing the race in 56.75 seconds.
 
Eric Boutwell (Men's Golf)
Boutwell helped to lead Montevallo to a sixth-place finish at the Citrus Intercollegiate on Tuesday, Nov. 1 after shooting three under-par rounds for a T-6th individual placement at six-under. The sophomore opened the tournament with a three-under round of 69 before turning in a two-under 70 and one-under 71 in rounds two and three, respectively. Boutwell's opening round 69 was the second-lowest round of any Falcon during the tournament.
