ALBANY, GA --- The Montevallo men's golf team finished 16th at the GSW Hurricane Invitational (hosted by Georgia Southwestern University). As a team, the Falcons shot 45-over-par (909).
Eric Boutwell was the top finisher for UM, capping of the tournament with a 5-over-par - 221, which tied him for 37th.
Landon Wockenfuss tied for 52nd with a score of 8-over-par - 224. Harrison Hughes and
Gregory Jones tied at 74th at 16-over-par, while
Brock McNeely was 90th at 30-over-par.

Next up: The Falcons head to Memphis to compete in the CBU Buccaneer Spring Classic at Irene Golf and Country Club on March 7-8.

After the first two rounds of the GSW Hurricane Invitational, the Montevallo men's golf team is tied for 15th place with Young Harris College at 25-over-par (601).
Individually,
Landon Wockenfuss had the top score for the Falcons. He's tied for 35th on the leaderboard after 36 holes, shooting 3-over-par in round one and even par in the second round. He finished the day with a 147.
Eric Boutwell is tied for 45th at 4-over-par (148). He began the second round tied for 57th after shooting an opening round 76.
Gregory Jones and
Harrison Hughston both are tied for 70th at 9-over-par (153), while
Brock McNeely is tied for 88th at 20-over-par (164).
The Hurricane Invitational wraps up on Tuesday with the final round.
