WINTER PARK, Fla. --- The Montevallo women's golf team finished ninth at the Peggy Kirk Bell Memorial Invitational at Orange Tree Golf Club. The Falcons shot a team score of .
Caterina Oliveri finished in the top 20 to lead the Falcons. She finished tied for 19th with a score of 21-over-par (237). Paula Bermejo finished four shots behind Oliveri at 25-over-par (241).
Macall Miller shot her best round of the event, finishing with a final round 78.to come away with a tournament total of 35-over-par (251) and moved her up from 56th to a tie for 44th.
Meredith Bennett moved up one spot from 56th to 55th after shooting a final round 84. She finished at 41-over-par (257).
Estelle Ingram rounded out the scoring for the Falcons at 66th place, finishing at 53-over-par (269).
Next up --- The Falcons have a week off before competing in the Union University Bulldog Spring Bash on March 28 and 29 at Canebrake Golf Club in Athens, Alabama.
