TOCCOA, Ga. – Montevallo women's golf closed the 2025 fall schedule with a 14^th-place finish at the D2 Elite Invitational hosted by Anderson. 
 
The event, originally scheduled for three-round tournament, was shorted to just two rounds with the Falcons finishing 12^th after the first 18 holes with a total score of 20-over with six birdies. Montevallo closed the event with a second-round 25-over with seven birdies to take home its 14^th-place finish. 
 
Fabiola DeCespedes led the Falcons' at the tournament with a 21^st finish as an individual with a total score of 5-over (149) with four birdies on the week. The senior finished round one with a one-over 73 with three birdies and a 35 on the back nine before finishing the tournament with a round-two 76 (+4). Ainoa Ruiz took home a 47^th-place finish with a total score of 11-over after carding a two-over 74 in round one and following with a nine-over 81 in round two. Freshman Polly McCrackin finished 58^th for the week with a total score of 15-over with a round one 79 and a round two 80. Francesca DeRoover added a 72^nd finish with a score of 17-over while Kate Cost finished 77^th with a total score of 18-over.
