Box Score HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Montevallo men's lacrosse team picked up a 12-8 win Friday night, in a rematch against Lander.  With the win the Falcons advance to the Peach Belt Conference Finals for the second year in a row.

UP NEXT: UM will face UAH in a rematch of last years conference championship, with the first face-off set for Sunday, May 8th at 1:00 pm in Charger Park.

Scott Friant led UM with four goals with Jackson Klewchuk (2), Trevayne Hunter (2), Ryan Shea (1), Chaiton Williams (1), Jack Morris (1), and Thomas Vaesen (1) adding scoring contributions.

Game Summary
Lander jumped out ahead of the Falcons 2-0 in the first quarter after the Bearcats defense kept the Falcons out of the net.  UM responded in the second with six unanswered goals to take the lead 6-2 by halftime.  

The Bearcats didn't let the second quarter define the game, outscoring the Falcons 4-2 in the third period cutting the lead to two goals.  Montevallo finished the game strong in the fourth netting four goals and only allowing two to secure the 12-8 semifinal victory.
