PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The National Lacrosse League's Las Vegas Desert Dogs selected Montevallo's Colin Jeffrey as the first pick in the fourth round of the 2022 NLL Draft on September, 10.
 
"We are extremely proud of Colin," said Head Coach Jason Lange. "Not only is he a great lacrosse player, but an unbelievable teammate and person. Las Vegas is getting a young man who is dedicated, driven and will do whatever is asked of him to help the team be successful."
 
The Montevallo defenseman is the second Falcon to be selected in the NLL Draft since Thomas Vaesen was selected in the first round of the 2021 Draft.
 
Jeffrey appeared in 49 games for the Falcons with 30 starts in his career. In his four years at Montevallo, he forced 85 round balls and caused 46 turnovers.
