CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The University of Montevallo women's golf team finished in sixth place at The City with Spirit Classic, hosted by Lee University, Tuesday, in Cleveland, Tenn.
Sophomore
Madison Rincon led Montevallo with a tied-15
th finish after shooting a plus-14 230 in the three-round event.
Sophomore
Caterina Oliveri was the only other Falcon to finish in the top-30 as she posted a plus-18 234 to finish tied-27
th.
The lowest round of the event for the Falcons was posted by Paula Bermejo, who shot a 75 in round one.
Freshman Fabiola Decespedes competed as an individual in the event and posted a 21-over 237 in her first collegiate event, finishing tied-36
th.
As a team, the Falcons sat in seventh place after shooting a 23-over 311 in round one. The squad stayed in seventh with a 20-over 308 in the second round and moved up to sixth after the final round.

TOURNAMENT NOTES
- Bremejo's first-round 75 was the lowest round of the tournament for the Falcons.
