MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo women's basketball's Marisa Snodgrass and men's track and field's Joshua Pruitt have been named Montevallo Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 17.

Marisa Snodgrass (Women's Basketball) 

Senior guard Marisa Snodgrass led the women's basketball team in two significant conference wins this week. In their game against West Alabama, Snodgrass notched nine points, seven rebounds, four assists and three steals in the 52-47 road victory. At Trustmark arena in a 57-50 win against West Georgia, she scored twelve points, grabbed two rebounds, six assists and six steals. She managed to draw a total of eight fouls against the Wolves which earned her a game high ten free-throws attempts.

Joshua Pruitt (Men's Track And Field)

This weekend at the Emory Crossplex Showdown Joshua Pruitt helped lead men's track and field to a first-place team finish. With an outstanding jump of 14.26 meters (46'9.5") in the triple jump, Pruitt was able to score ten points for the Falcons.
