ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The University of Montevallo women's golf team posted a seventh-place finish out of 14 teams at the Flager Fall Slam, Tuesday, in St. Augustine, Florida.
The two-round event closed out the Fall slate for the 2023 GSC runners-up.
UM's
Caterina Oliveri led the way in at Marsh Creek Country Club, finishing tied-10
th at five-over for her second top-10 finish of the year.
Montevallo sat in fifth place following round one but dropped seven strokes on the final day to finish in seventh.

Individual Highlights
- Junior Caterina Oliveri led the Falcons with a tied-10th finish out of 76 participants for her second top-10 finish of the year.
- Oliveri shot five-over in the two-round event with a 75 in round one and a 74 in round two.
- Junior Madison Rincon carded a six-over score in the event as she shot 77 in round one and moved up to tied-12th in the final standings with a closing round 73.
- Rincon's 73 in round two was the lowest individual round for the Falcons this week.
Team Highlights
- Montevallo finished seventh out of 14 total teams in the event.
- UM carded a team total of 611 (plus-35) in the tournament overall.
- The Falcons shot a combined 302 in round one to sit in fifth place but dropped to seventh in the final standings with a 309 in round two.
