Box Score BELMONT, N.C. – The Montevallo men's tennis team won its fourth-straight match with a 5-2 victory over Belmont Abbey.
Philippe Zehender and
Fabricio Sosa posted the lone win in the doubles competition with a 6-4 win in the top match.
Montevallo secured its victory with five singles victories. In No. 2 singles,
Paul Sobich came back from a set down to win 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Julius Ziebart battled back to take the third singles match 1-6, 7-6, 6-4. Sosa and
Nick Hartmann each won their matches in straight sets with scores of 6-3, 6-1 and 6-3, 6-2, respectively, to secure the match for Montevallo.
Dylan Kamel capped off the Falcons' victory with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-0 win in the No. 6 singles slot.
