MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo men's basketball Head Coach Anthony Komara has announced the signing of Landon Butler to a National Letter of Intent in the late signing period, Monday.

Landon Butler | 6'4 | G | Greater Latrobe Senior HS | Latrobe, Pennsylvania



The 6'4 guard will join the Falcons in the fall of 2023 from Greater Latrobe Senior High School in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
 
In the 2022-23 season under Head Coach Brad Wetzel, Butler averaged 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals per game. After lettering for four seasons at Greater Latrobe, Butler totaled 1,185 career points.

Butler was named the 5A Section Three Player of the Year in 2023 and was a 5A Section Three First Team Selection in both 2022 and 2023.

During his high school career, Butler also excelled in the classroom by being named an honor student and being a member of the National Honor Society.
