MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo Head Men's Basketball Coach Anthony Komara has resigned from his position at the helm of the program.

In his four seasons as the head coach of the Falcons, Komara tallied an overall record of 64-54 for a career winnings percentage of .542 with 20 or more wins in each of his last two seasons. The former head coach reached consecutive NCAA South Region Tournaments in 2025 and 2026 to mark the first time since 2015-16 since Montevallo reached back-to-back national postseasons.

The University of Montevallo Athletics Department will now open a nationwide search for the next Head Men's Basketball Coach effective immediately.
