MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo Athletics will host a press conference on Wednesday, July 12 to introduce Olivia Chapman as the new Head Coach for Montevallo's storied women's basketball program.
 
ORIGINAL RELEASE
 
Chapman, who served as an assistant coach with the Falcons in 2022-23, has been promoted to Head Coach following Gary Van Atta's retirement announcement on Friday, June 30. Van Atta held the position, during his second stint, from 2016-2023.
 
The press conference, held in McChesney Conference Room inside the Student Activity Center, will begin at 10 a.m. central time and will be streamed live on the Falcons Athletic Networks on YouTube.
