MONTEVALLO, Ala. – For two weeks during the month of September, the University of Montevallo Athletic Department raised more than $96,000 with over 1,200 different donors, during the second annual Falcon Victory Campaign. 

Over the span of two weeks from Sept. 6 – Sept. 20, the campaign raised a grand total of $96, 570 and had 1,278 donors. Women's Basketball earned the greatest number of donors with 331 – to be crowned this year's winner - while men's lacrosse raised a department-leading $15,872.

Funds raised in the campaign are focused on helping cover teams' needs for the upcoming season, including trip expenses and facility improvements.

"I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who participated in this campaign," said Vice President for Athletics and Special Programs Mark Richard. "Our second annual Falcon Victory campaign was a tremendous success for falcon nation. What everyone has done to support the athletic program and its student-athletes is nothing short of phenomenal. Our campus community, alumni, and fans have been generous with their financial gifts that support our student-athletes. For that, we are extremely grateful."
