AUGUSTA, Ga. – In the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, Montevallo men's lacrosse was voted third in the league while having the second-most All-Conference selections with a trio of Falcons earning the preseason honor.
Montevallo's third-place preseason ranking comes after a season that saw the Falcons post an 11-6 record with a team that reached 10 wins in the regular season for the first time in program-history.

Jackson Klewchuk highlight the Preseason All-Conference team for Montevallo as three of 10 athletes named on the squad. Egorshin, the Falcons' record holder for most saves in a single game, was named the 2023 PBC Defensive Player of the Year a season ago while also garnering Second Team All-Conference goalkeeper honors with a total of 217 saves and a save percentage of .570 and an 11-6 record in goal. Hunter, the Falcons leading scorer in 2023, found his way onto the All-Conference team after scoring 46 goals and adding 23 assists for a team-high 69 points and a 2023 First Team All-PBC Attacker selection. Klewchuk, a 2023 Second Team All-PBC selection, posted the second-most points by a Falcon with 43 points on 23 goals and 20 assists.
The Falcons are set to begin the 2024 campaign on Sunday, Feb. 4 when UIndy makes the trip to Montevallo, Ala. for a noon contest.
