MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo men's lacrosse duo Matthew Boas and Collin Schuster have been named Peach Belt Conference Players of the Week after leading the Falcons to a 22-2 win over Virginia State to open conference play.

Boas, the conference's leading scorer, tallied a total of five goals on the day to lead Montevallo's attack on a 100-percent shooting mark with five shots, all of which were on frame, while also adding a trio of ground balls. The senior attacker now leads the PBC with 33 goals and 53 points while ranking third in the league with 20 assists.
 
Schuster, a senior defender, helped to lead the Falcons defense to allow just two goals in the conference-opening win. The Smyrna, Ga. native posted a total of three caused turnovers while adding four ground balls. Schuster ranks second in the conference with 19 caused turnovers on the season.
 
The Falcons are set to take on UAH on Saturday, April 4 on the road at 1 p.m.
