MONTEVALLO, Ala. – University of Montevallo women's basketball's Savannah Cook, and wrestling's Noah Todd have been named Montevallo Players of the Week presented by Jack's for the week of Jan. 29.
 
Savannah Cook (Women's Basketball)
Sophomore sharp shooter Savannah Cook shot was lights out from three-point range in two close conference matchups. Against UAH, Cook shot 3-5 from three, scoring 16 points. She added two rebounds. Against Lee, Cook shot .333 percent from three, scoring 12 points and adding three assists. In this matchup, she also got it done on the defensive end. She grabbed five rebounds and had a career high three steals.
 
Noah Todd (Wrestling)
Freshman Noah Todd has continued his winning streak to help the Falcons to a big win over conference opponent Lincoln Memorial. Todd's match against Lincoln Memorial was a win by decision. He finished 6-3 over Gabriel Croom. Against King, Todd once again won by decision. His 4-2 win over Jacob Telles brings his winning streak to five matches.
