MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo Athletic Department, in conjunction with Shelby Emergency Assistance, is hosting a Project Christmas Toy Drive, Thursday, Dec. 5, at UM's men's and women's basketball games.
The athletic department will collect toys in the Student Activity Center atrium during Montevallo's doubleheader against Lee. Women's basketball tips off at 5:30 p.m. with the men slated to face the Flames at 7:30 p.m. Donations will be accepted beginning at 4:30 p.m. until the end of the game. All toys received will be donated to SEA for Project Christmas.
Those who donate a toy will receive free admission to the basketball games, Dec. 5. SEA is seeking various toys, including but not limited to, baby dolls, barbie dolls, play-doh, hotwheels cars, basketballs or footballs.
