CLEVELAND, Miss. - The
Montevallo men's and women's swimming teams wrapped up the finals of day two of the New South Intercollegiate Swim Conference Championships with a pair of new school records and an NCAA b-cut mark.

In the finals of men's 50-yard free,
Juan Celis finished 10
th with an NCAA b-cut time of 20.44.
To round out day two, both men's and women's teams turned in successful races in the 200-yard medley relays. First, the women's team comprised of
Petra Cajkas,
Hanna Persson,
Keara McGee and Dani Davis swam a school-record time of 1:46.42 to finish fourth. In the men's 200-yard medley relay, the Falcons posted a podium finish with a school-record time of 1:28.45 for second place. The team was comprised of
Will Mahone,
Janek Barczyk,
Aleksei Kolesnikov, and
Juan Celis.
The Falcons return to the pool for day three prelims at 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 22.
