NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Montevallo softball team closed the weekend dropping a pair of contests against No. 12 Trevecca Nazarene.
GAME ONE
Trevecca Nazarene was dominant in the first game of the Saturday doubleheader, scoring 12 runs on 13 hits.
Montevallo's lone run of the day came in the fifth inning, as
Bentlee Stiner hit an RBI-single to left field to score
Skylar Johnson.

GAME TWO
Taylor Lloyd pitched her sixth complete game of the season and second of the weekend in the series finale. The junior racked up three strikeouts on the day.
The Trojans struck first, plating a pair of runs in the bottom of the third inning to take an early, 2-0, lead.
The Falcons got on the board in the top of the fifth, as
Bentlee Stiner scored on a wild pitch to cut the deficit in half, 2-1.
Trevecca responded with a run of its own in the bottom half of the inning to pull ahead, 3-1.
The Trojans followed that up with a four-run sixth inning to take a, 7-1, advantage into the final inning.
The Falcons continued to fight in the top of the seventh, as
Bentlee Stiner hit her first home run of the season. The Trojans ultimately took home the 7-2 victory.
