Eric Boutwell closes the 2025 season with a +9 total score at the three-round NCAA South/Southeast Regional Tournament to finish T-73
rd on the week.
The Falcon's second round was suspended due to a lightning delay late Friday evening, but Boutwell improved his round one score with a 76 (+4) in round 2. Boutwell got out to a slow start after going +3 in the first three holes before steadying with four-straight pars. He closed the front nine with a birdie on the par three eighth to go out with a 37 (+2). Boutwell opened the back nine with a birdie on the par five 10
th before climbing back to even for the round with another birdie on No. 14. Boutwell finished the second round at four-over (76) for a T-92
nd placement.
Boutwell tallied his best round of the week in the final round of play with a two-under 70 to climb 19 slots up the leaderboard for his final T-73
rd finish. The senior opened with a pair of birdies in the opening three holes before dropping three shots in back-to-back holes. A birdie on the par four ninth gave Boutwell his first even par side of the week. After another birdie on No. 10, Boutwell tallied three-straight birdies on holes 14-16 to close the 2025 regional championship with a two-under 70 in the final round.
