MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo Men's Basketball Head Coach
Anthony Komara has announced the signing of transfer Sam Duskin, a 6'4" sophomore from Cullman, Ala.
The sophomore transfer joins Montevallo's roster after spending his freshman season at the Air Force Academy where he appeared in 19 games with eight starts. In his time in Colorado Springs, Colo., Duskin tallied a 35.9-percent shooting clip with a .400 mark from long range in his 10.4 minutes per game. On Nov. 15, 2024, Duskin set a career high with 13 points on 5-of-12 shooting and 3-of-9 from deep while playing 29 minutes.
Prior to his time at the Ari Force Academy, Dustin graduated from Cullman High School where the sophomore led his team to three-straight area titles from 2022-24 while winning the 2022 State Championship. In his four high school seasons, Duskin led his team to a 78-18 record while averaging 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists per game on his way to three All-Area selections while also earning an Area Most Valuable Player. The sophomore's top notch high school performance extended to the classroom where he tallied a 4.0 GPA as an Honor Student at Cullman High School.
Duskin will join the team when classes resume for the fall semester.
