MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo men's basketball ranks fourth in the latest NCAA Division II South Region rankings with just two games left in the regular season.

The Falcons fourth place ranking in the latest poll comes after Montevallo has posted a 17-7 record in Div. II while posting the same record in the South Region. Montevallo joins a total of four other Gulf South Conference members in West Alabama, West Florida, Trevecca Nazarene and Alabama Huntsville. The Falcons rank behind No. 1 Nova Southeastern, No. 2 Palm Beach Atlantic and No. 3 West Alabama while coming in ahead of No. 5 Florida Southern, No. 6 West Florida, No. 7 Tuskegee, No. 8 Trevecca Nazarene in the top eight teams of the region.
 
The South Region's top eight teams in the final regional rankings released on Sunday, March 8^th at 10 p.m. CT will earn a spot in the 2026 NCAA Div. II National Tournament.
