MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Montevallo men's and women's tennis teams are set to face Tennessee Wesleyan on Tuesday in Chattanooga, Tenn., with first serve scheduled for 11:00 a.m. CT.
Both Falcon squads have started the 2026 season strong, carrying 2-0 records into Tuesday's action. The Montevallo women are coming off of a 6-1 victory over Mobile, fueled by another dominant performance in singles play. Claire Jaramba and Anna Nevada Henriksen each earned victories in both singles and doubles to lead the Lady Falcons.
The Montevallo men also claimed their second consecutive hard-fought win, defeating Mobile 4-3. Simon Luigs anchored the team's effort, securing wins at No. 3 doubles and No. 2 singles to guide the Falcons to victory.
Tennessee Wesleyan comes into the matchup after a strong start to the season. The men's team boasts an 8-2 overall record and a 2-0 mark in conference play, riding a commanding 7-0 win over Milligan on Friday. They are currently ranked No. 2 nationally by the ITA. On the women's side, the No. 3-ranked Lady Bulldogs are 7-1 overall with a 3-1 record in AAC competition and also cruised past Milligan 7-0 last week.
