MANHEIM, Pa. – The Montevallo wrestling team continued to receive votes in the final National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Top 25 Team Rankings released this week, while
Cole Hunt remained among the nation's top 10 at 125 pounds.
The Falcons collected 4.0 points in the final poll after finishing the dual season with a 10-4 record, advancing to the Conference Carolinas Championship semifinals, and placing fourth as a team at the NCAA Super Region II Championships.
Hunt maintained his No. 9 ranking from last month's poll in the 125-pound rankings after compiling a 32-2 overall record this season and capturing the 125-pound Super Region II title last weekend.
