MONTEVALLO, Ala. – For the first time in a decade, Montevallo men's basketball is headed to a second-consecutive NCAA Div. II Men's Basketball South Region Tournament.

Montevallo enters a bid for the national title as the No. 5 seed in the South Region after posting a 21-8 overall record during the 2025-26 regular season. The Falcons' second-straight at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament marks the first time since the 2015 and 2016 tournaments that have featured Montevallo in back-to-back years.
 
The Falcons join fellow Gulf South Conference members No. 3 West Alabama, No. 6 West Florida and No. 7 Alabama Huntsville. No. 1 seed Nova Southeastern will host the seven-game South Region tournament alongside Sunshine State Conference members No. 2 Plam Beach Atlantic and No. 4 Florida Southern. Morehouse rounds out the eight-team regional tournament as the No. 8 seed.
 
The Falcons will take on fourth-seeded Florida Southern on Saturday, March 14 with tip-off yet to be scheduled.
