AUGUSTA, Ga. – Montevallo Men's Lacrosse duo Matthew Boas and Alex Egorshin have swept the latest Peach Belt Conference Weekly Awards after leading UM to a 15-5 win over Young Harris.

Boas led the league on points this week with seven points on four goals, which matched a league best this week, while adding three assists which also tied the PBC's highest mark. The senior attacker fired a total of seven shots while adding four shots on goal for a .571 shots on goal percentage. In his performance, the Nanaimo, B.C., Canada native tallied three ground balls while also posting his third man-up goal of the season.
 
In his fourth win of the season, Egorshin tallied a total of 15 saves on the week for a .750 save percentage while facing 30 shots in 60 minutes in the goal. The senior also added a total of four ground balls to match a season-high mark. The Hoover, Ala. native allowed just five goals on the day to mark his second-best performance of the season.
 
Boas and Egorshin will head to Tampa, Fla. to take on No. 2 Tampa at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.
