MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Montevallo men's lacrosse duo Matthew Boas and Alex Egorshin have each earned Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week honors after leading UM to a 15-14 win over No. 18 Flagler on the road.

Boas posted a game-high six goals on seven shots with six shots on goal while adding a ground ball and a caused turnover in the Falcons' road win. The Nanaimo, B.C., Canada native's six goals in Montevallo second ranked win of the season marked the third time in 2026 that the senior scored six or more goals in a single game. Boas remains as the PBC's top scorer with 43 goals on the season for an average of 3.07 per game while also leading the league with 64 points after adding 21 assists to his total.
 
Egorshin's performance saw the senior play all 60 minutes in goal while posting a total of 14 saves on 51 shots faced for a .500 save percentage. The Hoover, Ala. native also tallied a pair of caused turnovers and a ground ball in Montevallo's road victory. On the season, Egorshin leads the Peach Belt with a total of 226 saves for an average of 16.14 per game while also posting a conference-best .612 save percentage.
 
Boas and Egorshin will close the 2026 regular season on Saturday, April 18 as the Falcons take on Lander for the Peach Belt Conference regular season title.
