GREENWOOD, Ind. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025-26 Division II Men's and Women's Swimming Academic All-District teams on Tuesday, with eight Montevallo student-athletes earning recognition. On the women's side, Keara McGee, Hanna Persson, Alexandria Morgan, and Stella Newton were selected, while Ben Johnson, Elijah Allen, Ethan Brewer, and Jimmy Franck represented the Falcons on the men's team.

McGee earns her third CSC Academic All-District honor following another outstanding season in the pool and classroom. The Mass Communication and Marketing major holds a 3.83 cumulative GPA and was a four-time Conference Carolinas champion, winning the 100- and 200-yard butterfly events while also contributing to first-place finishes in the 200- and 400-yard medley relays.

Persson, a junior Political Science major with a 3.91 cumulative GPA, secured her spot after a strong season. The Linköping, Sweden native posted personal-best times in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke at the Conference Carolinas Championships, setting a new program record in the 200-yard event (2:20.81). She claimed the conference title in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.78) and was part of two championship-winning medley relay teams.

Morgan, a sophomore accounting major from Birmingham, Ala., earns the honor with a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA. The Conference Carolinas Elite 26 winner had a dominant season, contributing to two gold-medal medley relay teams at the Conference Carolinas Championships and recording 17 top-10 times in program history.

Newton, a sophomore Speech Pathology major, also holds a 4.0 cumulative GPA while earning her first CSC Academic All-District selection. The Acworth, Ga., native posted three top-six individual finishes at the conference championships, helping Montevallo to a runner-up team finish.

On the men's side, Johnson played a key role in leading the Falcons to a conference championship while maintaining a 3.86 cumulative GPA as a finance and Spanish major. He won the 200-yard butterfly with a season-best time of 1:52.19 and added top-five finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle and 400-yard individual medley.

Allen, a sophomore biology major from Bogart, Ga., earns the honor with a 3.63 cumulative GPA after a strong second season. He placed fourth in the 200-yard backstroke and added multiple podium finishes in both relay and backstroke events throughout the year.

Brewer, a junior finance major from Winter Garden, Fla., posted a 3.81 cumulative GPA en route to Academic All-District recognition. He recorded three top-four finishes at the conference championships, including third-place efforts in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:51.02) and 200-yard butterfly (1:53.71).

Franck earns the CSC Academic All-District nod with a 3.54 cumulative GPA. He posted a personal-best time of 1:42.13 in the 200-yard freestyle and totaled four podium finishes at the conference championships, contributing to the Falcons' team title.
