MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference has named Lainey Farabaugh as its Women's Soccer Player of the Week in its third set of 2026 weekly awards.

In a 2-0 week for Montevallo, Farabaugh tallied nine points on four goals and an assist while taking 11 shots with seven on frame. In a win over Georgia College, the Altoona, Pa. native scored a pair of goals on five shots with three on goal while adding an assist for five points in the 7-3 victory. In Montevallo's conference opener against Trevecca Nazarene, Farabaugh added another pair of goals on six shots with four on frame in 50 minutes of the 5-0 win.
 
Farabaugh and the rest of the Falcons are set to head to Memphis, Tenn. on Wednesday, Sept. 16 to take on Christian Brothers at 5 p.m.
