SEATTLE, Wash. – Giuliano Frano, who played men's soccer at the University of Montevallo for two seasons, has signed with Seattle Sounders FC 2.
Frano played at Boston College following his time at UM, starting all 34 of his career games with the Golden Eagles.
At Montevallo, Frano finished his career with four goals and 13 assists. His sophomore season, Frano led the Falcons with nine assists. He was twice named a Silver Scholar on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll.
"Giuliano was an impact player from day one," said University of Montevallo Head Men's Soccer Coach Bruce Dietterle. "I'm happy that his dream has come true."
S2 had its inaugural game this past Saturday, defeating Sacramento Republic FC. Frano started the match for the Sounders.
