HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons got behind early in the first game as the Lions put up runs in the first and third innings to take a 3-0 lead.
- Montevallo got on the board with a single from Celestia Davila. Davila hit through the left side to plate Darbi Duke for their first run of the game and the Falcons trailed 3-1.
- In the bottom of the seventh inning the Falcons had a chance to tie the game but were unable to advance the tying run. Davila drove in Rachael Conley for her second RBI of the game to make it a 3-2 game.
- In game two the Lions jumped out early on the Falcons scoring 5 runs in the game's first three innings. The Lions other run came in the top of the sixth inning to give them six for the night.
- Montevallo scored in the third inning off of a Kelsey Vining single that brought Conley home and got the Falcons on the board.
- In the sixth inning Vining stole home while the Lions were preoccupied trying to run down Lady Sarah Federico. Vining's score gave the Falcons their second run off the game as the Lions led 6-2.
