HOW IT HAPPENED

Game 1

• The Falcons gave up eight runs over five innings as the Nighthawks took game one 8-0.  North Georgia scored a pair of runs to begin the game in the bottom of the first inning and then added  another in the third.  The Nighthawks did their damage in the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring five runs to close out the game.
• Jana Kelbie Armstrong (2-7) got the start in the circle for the Falcons and pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed three runs on four hits.
• Abbey Pratt entered the game in relief for the Falcons and pitched the final 2 1/3 innings.  Pratt gave up five runs on four hits against the Nighthawks.

Game 2

• North Georgia scored four runs in the first inning to take an early 4-0 lead in the second game of the doubleheader.  The Nighthawks scored another run in the bottom of the third inning and then added their final run in the bottom of the fourth to take a 6-0 lead.
• Jocelyn Rivera (5-19) got the start in the circle for the Falcons and pitched four innings, surrendering six runs on seven hits.
• Armstrong entered the game in relief and pitched two innings and only allowed one hit.

The Falcons finish the 2016 regular season with a 19-38 overall record and 3-21 in the Peach Belt Conference.
