HOW IT HAPPENED

Game 1

• The Falcons surrendered the first run of the game in the fourth inning when the Jaguars' Erin Rozier homered to left center field to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Jaguars plated three more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and took a 4-0 lead on a single by Rozier. 
• The Falcons recorded just two hits and committed a total of four errors in the game one defeat.
• Jana Kelbie Armstrong ( 2-5) got the start in the circle for Montevallo and gave up five hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Game 2

• The Falcons and the Jaguars went late into the second game before anyone scored. Augusta's Kristen Bagley bunted with one out in the bottom of the fifth inning to bring home the game's only run as the Jaguars took a 1-0 lead.

• Jocelyn Rivera got the start in the circle and pitched her sixth complete game this season.  Rivera, who is now 5-14 on the season, struck out seven batters and gave up five hits over the six inning outing.

STAT OF THE DAY

The Falcons struggled defensively in today's doubleheader with the Jaguars.  Montevallo combined for eight errors, committing four in each game.  The Falcons have committed four errors in a game on six different occasions this season.
