· Georgia Southwestern took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning following a RBI single by Chloe Zoeller and an error by the Falcons.
· Junior Mariel Bertossi reached on a bunt single and later scored on a wild pitch in the bottom of the second inning to trim the deficit to 2-1.
· The Falcons took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the third inning following a RBI single by sophomore Brooke Ingram and a RBI double by sophomore Carlee Mullinax.
· Senior Marisa Sosa blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend the Falcons' lead to 4-2.
· Montevallo extended its lead to 6-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning following a RBI single by junior Haley Barnette and a RBI single by Bertossi.
· Georgia Southwestern scored its final run in the top of the seventh inning on a RBI double by Hayley Tierce.
