MONTEVALLO, Ala. – Former University of Montevallo men's basketball alum Troran Brown has signed with BC Prievidza in the Slovakian Basketball League.

Brown competed last season at Villars Basket in Switzerland, where he averaged 21.4 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in 19 games.  Brown helped Villars Basket win the LNB league title in his lone season with the team.

Brown was selected as the All-Swiss NLB Finals MVP following the season.

This will be Brown's fifth professional season across four continents following previous experience in Bosnia, Mexico, Mongolia and Switzerland.

Brown was named Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year and a National Association of Basketball Coaches NCAA Division II All-American during both his junior and senior seasons and led the Falcons to back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances.

Brown is the all-time assist leader with 574 career assists at Montevallo and is fourth among career scoring leaders with 1,752 points during his three-year career.
