MONTGOMERY - University of Montevallo men's doubles pair Gavin Salton and Sergi Martinez claimed victory at the Gulf South Conference Fall Open over the weekend. Salton and Martinez won three matches in their bracket and defeated teammates Alexandre Laplante and Dylan Kamel 7-6 (5), 6-2.

The road to the bracket final for Salton and Martinez included a 6-3 win over Jonathan Judy-Hansen and Thibault Jacq of Auburn-Montgomery, a 6-2 victory over Emiliano Elazarraraz and Jude Heraut of Delta State and a 7-5 win against Swann Flohr and Christian Wedel of Valdosta State.

Laplante and Kamel defeated.Hsiang Yi Wang and Joe Jarvis of Mississippi College 6-4 in there first match. Then, followed with a 6-4 win over Ignacio Mora and Javier Flores of Christian Brothers and a 6-3 victory against Loic Danze and Nutti Jokinen West Alabama.
