Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. - University of Montevallo softball team lost 0-4 to North Georgia after struggling to bounce back from an early Nighthawk lead.

North Georgia got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for the Nighthawks.

The Falcons saw a huge single by Alexis Cortez in the third inning.

Tybee Denton pitched University Of North Georgia to victory. The righthander allowed three hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Laken Chambers threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Kaylee Hawkins took the loss for the Falcons. Hawkins surrendered three runs on five hits over five innings, striking out one and walking one.

Sierra Easterwood led Montevallo with two hits in three at bats.
