Box Score MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Falcon's watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 0-4 loss to the University of North Georgia on Sunday.

North Georgia took the lead on a fielder's choice in the second inning.

The Nighthawks opened up scoring in the second inning. Gracie Mixson hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

An early highlight for the Falcon's was a double by Hannah Carey in the first inning.

Kylee Smith was the winning pitcher for University Of North Georgia. The pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out nine and walking zero. Abbie Crawford threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Mychael McMillan took the loss for UM. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing nine hits and four runs while striking out five and walking one.

Holly LaForce, Sierra Easterwood, and Hannah Carey each collected one hit to lead the Falcons.
