MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The University of Montevallo women's lacrosse team has announced its schedule for the 2023 spring season, Thursday.
 
Women's lacrosse will take the field in 17 contests in the spring with nine games in Montevallo at the Track and Field/Lacrosse Stadium and will face eight opponents on the road.
 
During the Falcons' non-conference slate, the team will open the year on Jan. 28 against Life in an exhibition contest in Montevallo, Ala. In Feb., the Falcons will face six non-conference opponents, including Reinhardt (Feb. 4), Tampa (Feb. 10) and Lynn (Feb. 12) at home along with road matchups against Mars Hill (Feb. 17), Lenoir-Rhyne (Feb. 19), and UVA Wise (Feb. 25).
 
Montevallo will begin the month of March on the road against Birmingham-Southern (Mar. 1) before returning home for three-straight home games against SCAD-Savannah (Mar. 5), Saint Leo (Mar. 12), and Lander (Mar. 24). After opening Gulf Couth Conference play against Lander, the Falcons will travel to Embry-Riddle (Mar. 29), for the final non-conference matchup of the year to close out the March slate.
 
GSC action is in full swing as Montevallo makes a trip to Flagler (April 1). The season will conclude with four more conference matchups including road games against Shorter (April 8) and Lee (April 15) and home games against UAH (April 6) and Young Harris (April 22).
 
Following the season's conclusion on April. 22, the Falcons will prepare for the GSC Tournament, beginning on April. 28.
